The time has come...

The time has come”, the walrus said…I am not sure what follows that but think it may be something rude!! Anyway my line is…"the time has come the walrus said, to pack up your purple suitcase with the smiley face tag and head off to see some more of the world."

HB and I head off tomorrow for a brief sojourn in San Francisco (well we have to go there don’t we!), then to Ireland for three weeks exploring before heading to London for a few days at the end of September. Ireland is about checking in with my family history. My dad was born in Northern Ireland and my mum’s parents were from County Tyrone. My dad’s family was Protestant and my mum’s Catholic, which lead to an interesting mix.

London is about catching up with Shelley’s friends and meeting with some of the wonderful people we have met over the past two years.

I am not taking a laptop and will not be updating my blog til after we come home.

The house is still on the market and there is so much happening it seems a little crazy.

I still haven’t packed and it is mid-night.

I will sign off and update my blog when I get back.

Be safe, be well, be happy.

Love to everyone,
KG

The time has come, the walrus said, to speak of many things, of ships and shoes and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings....

Going through the looking glass can offer amazing things.

So pleased to hear you will both be of on a journey of discovery, remembering and reconnecting. Congratulations on the new house, your narratives say it all!

We love you both and think of you often, even if from a distance. Will continue to be thinking of you during your trip and certainly wish you the best one. Loads of love from M & S in the Hawes Bay.

It was lovely to see you both again and hear your tales of travel. Thank you for the gift and thank you both especially for the hugs. x
